In a mountain town where the median home price is far beyond what most working residents can afford, BUILT. Construction was proud to play a role in changing that.
The Waterview Homes community in Ouray, Colorado is a 21-home deed-restricted neighborhood developed specifically for local families earning between 60 and 120 percent of area median income. Sale prices ranged from $275,000 to $479,000 — attainable by design, not by accident.
BUILT. handled the site development work for the four-acre community, including underground construction of water, sewer, storm, and electrical utilities to serve all 22 prefabricated homes, along with the asphalt cul-de-sac built to support future residents for years to come.
The entire project — from entitlement to certificates of occupancy — was completed in under 18 months. Total project cost came in at approximately $9 million.
Phase 1 is now complete and fully sold. Phase 2 is on the horizon.
