Longmont Climbing Collective stands as one of Colorado’s most ambitious ground-up fitness and climbing destinations, spanning over 25,000 square feet of purpose-built space in the heart of Longmont. BUILT. Construction delivered this landmark facility from the ground up, bringing a bold vision to life with precision and craftsmanship.
The centerpiece of the facility is its world-class climbing infrastructure. The gym boasts the tallest indoor climbing walls in Colorado, alongside a massive 60-foot tall outdoor climbing wall that commands attention from the street. Inside, climbers of every skill level will find over 19,000 square feet of rope walls and over 5,000 square feet of dedicated bouldering terrain — making this one of the most comprehensive climbing facilities in the Rocky Mountain region.
The project carries national significance as well. Longmont Climbing Collective will host the 2025 Ice Climbing World Cup, marking the return of this prestigious international competition to the United States for the first time since 2019. It is a testament to the caliber of the facility and the ambition of its founders.
Beyond climbing, the facility was designed to serve the whole athlete. Amenities include a dedicated climber’s training room engineered for performance, a cardio loft, a full fitness area, and a recovery room equipped with a sauna. Families are welcomed through a kids bouldering area designed specifically for younger climbers, while a yoga studio rounds out the wellness offerings for members seeking balance alongside their vertical pursuits.
The project also houses the Climbing Collective’s corporate offices, consolidating the organization’s operations under one roof. From the initial site work through final finishes, BUILT. managed every phase of construction to deliver a facility that sets a new standard for climbing gyms in Colorado — and the country.
