This large-scale sustainable energy testing and research facility’s 3,000 sq. ft. lab is also a commercial organic compost facility that features extensive greenhouse systems, aerobic and anaerobic biodigesters, and an algal biofilter. BUILT. helped ground the complex in energy-efficient design and seamlessly integrated the necessary specialized energy management systems, including passive solar heating.
